1. Why does the 1 lb [454g] packet of BZT® Waste Digester sell for less than other boxes, canisters or jugs of septic cleaners?

BZT® Waste Digester is concentrated, the 1 lb [454g] packet treats up to a 3000 gallon [11.5m³] septic, others treat a 1,000 gallon [3.79m³] septic per container from one month to six months, making them more expensive than BZT® Waste Digester. Compare not only the price, but also the capacity of the system to treat and for how long the product will treat that system. In addition, compare the active ingredients of each product. Dollar for dollar no other product has the active ingredients to perform effectively all the jobs BZT® Waste Digester can.

2. Wouldn't it be easier to just treat a system once every six months or once a year like some products recommend?

WRONG!
You could treat a system once a year if you didn't flush or use your system during that year. But, in the real world we are using our systems every day, draining dish soap, washing machine detergents, household cleaners and other types of cleaners into our septic systems. These detergents, cleaners and other wastes we dump into our septic systems kill beneficial bacteria, that's why we recommend regular usage of BZT® Waste Digester to maintain proper bacterial action to keep your septic operating at its maximum level.
